Cassandra Fauss

Owner & founder

Cassandra Fauss is an unconventional yogi, dog lover, adventure seeker and self-proclaimed beer aficionado. A wanderer and dreamer since youth, she followed many paths after college from film production to line cook, retail to real estate. Cassandra credits her unconventional journey for setting the stage for her favorite job of all, nomadic yogi entrepreneur.

Cassandra attended her first yoga class in 2005 in Dallas, Texas, shortly after graduating college and launching her career in film production. Initially drawn to yoga for the physical benefits, she soon experienced a profound shift that changed the way she perceived and navigated the world around her. Cassandra’s yoga practice led her out of her comfort zone and taught her to listen to her own intuition as a guide, both on and off the yoga mat.

In 2009, after being laid off from her “dream job,” Cassandra used her severance package to fun a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training to deepen her knowledge of the practice but with no intention of ever becoming a teacher. Crippled by a lifelong fear of public speaking  and a severe lack of self confidence, it took several years, a few life detours, and a move to San Antonio before Cassandra led her first yoga class. She quickly found that teaching yoga unlocked her inner confidence and passion for awakening others to their own transformation through yoga.

It was this passion that inspired Cassandra to create Mobile Om, taking yoga outside the confines of a studio and out into the community in order to connect with and empower more people to experience the benefits of the practice. As a teacher, Cassandra encourages students to engage with all parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion while discovering and connecting to their own inner source of wisdom. She combines mindfulness, intuitive alignment and hands on assists to create powerful and playful vinyasa sequences where messiness, laughter and high fives are strongly encouraged.

Rainbow Marin

Internal Relations Manager & Yoga Teacher

Rainbow was drawn to yoga as a way to restore from crossfit and triathlon training. Paired with a strong meditation practice Yoga has not only helped Rainbow in a physical sense but also helped her to heal and grow from past physical and emotional difficulties. She is passionate about mindful eating practices and loves cooking. Her teaching is ina Vinyasa flow format and ranges from a fast paced power flow to gentle and mindful restorative flows . Rainbow hopes that with each class she is able to empower people to cultivate a sense of mindfulness that can be carried off the mat and into the community and daily life. When not on the mat, Rainbow is the Mobile Om Internal Relations Manager and an acoustic singer-songwriter .

Caprice Taylor

Yoga Teacher

Caprice is a Graphic Artist who brings creativity to the mat, inspiring her students to cultivate deep presence, focused awareness and conscious breath within each asana. She found yoga to be her salvation after undergoing spinal fusion surgery. While practicing to heal physically, she experienced a transformative shift in her soul and began to understand that healing occurs when connecting mind and body. Believing it is never too late to begin again, she now helps others discover their yoga journey. Her classes are designed with purpose and offer something to students of every level. Caprice is also passionate about animals, serving on the board of CARE, a local dog rescue organization, and going on adventures with her Rottweiler, Dascha.

 

Brittany Kutchera

Yoga Teacher

Brittany was immediately drawn to yoga after attending a few classes and loving the affect that the practice had on her mind and body. This sense of peace and ease planted the seed for her that she wanted to teach this enlightenment through yoga as well. She currently works in an office environment as an Account Executive and has felt the effects of what sitting all day can have on the mind and body. Yoga has eased away the tension from sitting, and declutters the mind through meditation. Brittany is an advocate in and out of the office for practicing wellness and sharing the enlightenment of wellness and yoga with each person that she meets. Her classes combine a sense of creativity, playfulness, and empowerment by empowering people to empower themselves. She thrives to help others live by connecting the mind, body and spirit, and stepping off the mat feeling refreshed. Off the mat, she loves to travel, eat lots of delicious food, and get lost on random adventures.

 

Samantha Clayton

Yoga Teacher

Samantha stumbled upon her yoga journey by mistake. Her first official yoga class was after a cardio workout at a gym as a sort of stretch to end the day. That was the day her perspective forever changed about what yoga was and has led her to her passion today. Yoga has helped her realize the importance of bringing her mind and body into the present moment on a daily basis. She enjoys sharing this sense of peace with those who share their practice with her. Off the mat Sam can be found exploring the world with her kiddos, throwing a ball for one of her rescue pups or relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine with her husband.
